Make more wonder in the world.

I want to create more wonder in the world.

All design tells a story, but great design uses that story to connect us as people.

It shows not only what is possible, but who it is possible for us to be.

As a lifelong maker, I have a connection to the human scale, the tangible. I have big conceptual ideas, but what I value more is keeping sight of the fact that people and their stories are the point of both art and design. And that this is supposed to be fun.

Like art, design succeeds when (and only when) it has made someone feel something. That gasp of wonder and joy is my goal.

I know that one of my designs has suceeded when I hear that gasp of wonder and joy.

My Story

I’m a designer, fabricator, and maker with over 25 years of independent experience in creating unique, interactive, and immersive art, environments, and designs. Specialized in interior design and architectural design, as well as interactive art installations, with a strong focus on narrative design, human-centered design, and strong understanding of materials and production processes. Adept at carrying conceptual themes from inception to completion with an emphasis on research, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship. Holding degrees in Interior Architecture and Art History, I am seeking a role where I can combine my artistic expertise, educational background, and passion for museums to design innovative, engaging museum exhibits in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

My Story.

Experienced and multifaceted designer, artist, and maker with over 25 years of independent experience in creating unique, interactive, and immersive art, environments, and designs. Focused on design storytelling, human-centered design, and understanding of materials and production processes.

Specialties include interior and architectural design; interactive art installations; colorful, whimsical, over-the-top, conceptual ideas—and communicating those ideas and carrying them through from conception to completion.  Passionate about color, pattern, and texture, especially textiles and print mixing.  Funny.

Seeking an interior design role that leverages my education, artistic expertise, and pathological curiosity in a collaborative and fun environment with other creatives. Sick of working alone.

A conceptual and materials-based designer and maker with insatiable curiosity; interested in design storytelling, sustainability, and continuing to learn about practically everything.
